Paragliding on Bjelasnica

Anyone who decides to try paragliding probably wants to satisfy their passion for flying and test their courage. And, it’s a brave move because you’re stepping out of your comfort zone and letting yourself fall hundreds of meters off the ground.

Basic information about the adventure:

• There are 2 starts: the first is the peak of Bjelašnica 2067 m above sea level (ASL), and the second is Medjustanica 1827 m (ABL) with the landing in Babin Do 1242 (ABL)
• The flight lasts from 10 minutes to a couple of hours, it all depends on the weather conditions
• Professional equipment is provided
• It is flown in tandem with qualified guides
• Beginners can also apply

What do we know about paragliding on Bjelašnica?

According to personal experiences, it is enough to put on your professional suit, sunglasses and leave the rest to our team. Once you start, don’t change your mind. It is certain that you will be impatient, but almost every beginner feels those butterflies in the stomach. When you are in a free flight, you will realize that it was worth the sweat and nervousness that you felt until a moment ago.

While you are in the air it will seem like you are running towards the belts, which are constantly slipping away from you. And what the sunset looks like from these heights is a special story that we won’t tell you, you should experience it.

You can fly in tandem with a paraglider or alone, depending on how much experience you have. Even if you are a beginner you can apply, because our team will tell you all necessary information about how to conduct yourself from the beginning to the end of this adventure.

By the way, Bjelašnica mountain is located only 32 km from the center of Sarajevo. It can be very cold here, especially in winter, during which temperatures are in the minus and reach - 41°C, while the highest that can be expected is 24°C. In the summer, Bjelašnica is overgrown with thick grass, while in December you can come across blankets of snow up to 3 meters high. All this tells you that for paragliding on this mountain beauty, it is better to choose spring or autumn, when the temperatures are mild, without strong winds.
