Knight rafting Tara from the fortress

Get ready for an unforgettable three-day rafting trip in Bosnia and Herzegovina - the Tara descent stretches for 18 km and that's right on the most challenging course of the river, which has 18 beech trees. 

This full board arrangement includes the following: 

• 5 meals 
• transportation from the camp to the place where the Tara rafting starts 
• certified skippers and guides 
• residence tax and the tax related to the rafting on Tara 
• all equipment for rafting (helmets, neoprene suits and neoprene boots, as well as vests for a safe water adventure)

What does a three-day rafting on Tara look like? 

DAY 1

• Reception of guests in the camp during the afternoon hours 
• Dinner, good time and overnight stay 

DAY 2

Breakfast rich in dishes of national cuisine, which will fill you with energy for the upcoming river rafting. Then there will be preparations for the descent, which includes a consultation with the skipper, who will give you all the important details for rafting on Tara, as well as donning safety equipment for rafting (vests, neoprene suit and boots made of the same material) transportation with our vehicles to Brštanovica, where Tara rafting starts.

After the guide briefly communicates further instructions, the preparation of the boats follows, in which the skipper determines where the guests will sit, and then the adventure can begin. Rafting lasts from 1.5 hours in May to 3.5 hours in August. During the river rafting, there will be two stops at a beautiful canyon, where you can swim, enjoy the clear water and the wonderful view from here. When the rafting is over, we will arrive at the camp and have shower with hot water and then get ready for lunch. 

For this meal, expect soup, veal or lamb cooked under the sauce as well as bread prepared in this way, and salad. After finishing the savory, expect dessert. When lunch is over, you have free time that you can spend resting, walking or doing some other activities. In the evening expect a delicious, light dinner, and then a great atmosphere in the camp, where you are provided with overnight accommodation.

DAY 3

We will have breakfast in the morning, after which this arrangement ends. However, if you wish, you can extend your stay on Tara and adjust it according to your personal needs. 

The price of the arrangement depends on the type of bungalow you choose. Namely, a stay in a standard bungalow would cost you €100, which is the current price due to the recent end of the season, while an arrangement in a LUX bungalow with a bathroom is €110. 

At the camp on Tara expect a warm welcome, because we will host the elderly with homemade brandy, while we will serve the minors with homemade juice. In addition, with us you don't have to worry about whether your car is safe, because you can leave it in the parking that has video surveillance. 

Take advantage of these beautiful sunny days, because during September and October the canyon Tara is perhaps the most beautiful, due to the colors that adorn it.
